I’m Aastha Kumar Iyer, a singer-songwriter and composer from vibrant Mumbai, India. My musical journey began with a decade of training in Indian Classical music, where I studied both Carnatic and Hindustani traditions. Over time, I expanded my craft into Pop music, completing my Bachelor’s training at LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore. Today, I blend the intricacy of my classical roots with the expressive freedom of contemporary styles to create a sound that is uniquely my own. Having pursued a Master’s in Music Management and Marketing at the University of York, I explored how creativity and strategy come together in the music industry. Alongside my studies, I continue to write, compose, and perform, always seeking to connect deeply with listeners through meaningful lyrics and emotive melodies. My vision is to grow both as an artist and a professional in music management, combining my passion for performance with my drive to understand how music moves people.
